Phishing Hotline

What is Phishing?

Phishing is an attempt to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, credit card and banking information, usually for malicious reasons, by disguising as a legitimate website. Most often it comes as an email seeming to be from a trusted source, such as your bank or Microsoft. However, clicking on the link in the email takes you to a fake site and if you log in you have been compromised.

It is sometimes very hard to tell a phishing email from a legit one. That's why we created the Phishing Hotline.

Our phishing hotline is free for all to use. Simply forward the email to phishing@technextdoor.ca. We will check it out and report back to you.

Here's how it works:

  • 1
Do not click on anything in the email!
  • 2
    Forward the email to 'phishing@technextdoor.ca'
  • 3
We will respond as soon as possible with instructions
  • 4
    Follow the instructions!
